Kapanewon's Tasks

Kapanewon has the task of assisting the Regent in coordinating the administration of general government, public services, and empowering the village community.

Kapanewon Function

a. implementation of general government affairs;

b. coordinating community empowerment activities;

c. coordinating efforts to maintain public peace and order;

d. coordinating the implementation and enforcement of regional regulations and regent's regulations;

e. coordinating the maintenance of public service infrastructure and facilities;

f. coordinating the implementation of government activities carried out by Regional Apparatus at the sub-district level;

g. fostering and supervising the implementation of village activities;

h. carrying out the tasks delegated by the Regent to carry out part of the Government Affairs which are under the authority of the Region;

i. implementation of the District secretariat; and

j. implementation of other functions given by the Regent related to its duties and functions.
